Itinerary:

Thursday, April 22

Arrive • Connect • Explore:

Settle into historic downtown Jonesborough, meet your fellow adventurers, and ease into the weekend with a relaxed trail run close to town. We'll gather for a trail-running orientation, enjoy a delicious group dinner, and begin our weekend with conversation, connection, and a little Appalachian storytelling.

(optional 3–5 mile easy trail run and group dinner)

Friday, April 23

After breakfast and coffee, we'll head into the mountains for a guided trail adventure on Buffalo Mountain. Along the way, you'll learn practical skills for climbing, descending, pacing, fueling, and moving confidently on rugged terrain. After our run, we'll refuel with a trail lunch before returning to Jonesborough for an afternoon of relaxation, mobility, and reflection.

(6-8 miles on trail)

Saturday, April 24

The Big Adventure!

We'll head into the high country for the weekend's signature adventure: a guided run along the Appalachian Trail through the Roan Highlands. We'll make our way across the iconic balds toward Grassy Ridge, with plenty of time to take in the views and soak up the experience. We'll finish with a shared trail lunch and a closing reflection before heading home.

(5-10 miles on trail)

Sunday, April 25

Breakfast and departure. You'll head home with a few more miles in your legs, new trail-running skills, a deeper connection to the mountains, and hopefully a few new friends—and memories that last much longer than the weekend.
