Fall Training Camp

Date:  Thursday, August 29 -- Monday, September 2

Location: Bryson City, NC (we will be running in the Smoky Mountains)

What is a trail running camp? Think of a group camp, but for adults who run trails! Enjoy 3 days of guided trail runs, group education on topics such as nutrition, trail safety, training and injury prevention. This is an informal, low-key running retreat for those looking to build community and learn from an experienced running coach. The goal is to have a great time with great people on great trails!

What is provided? Four nights of lodging in a group cabin setting (please note you will have your own bed but will be sharing rooms with one other person,) 3 meals per day, fully guided runs and group educational activities. Guests will check in Thursday evening. Runs will take place rain or shine on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Monday guests will check out and head home. 

How long will the trail runs be and at what pace? We anticipate runs to be anywhere in the 5-12 mile range. We will have at least two running guides and there will be absolutely NO runner left behind! The pace will be a slow, easy effort mixed with lots of breaks and power-hiking (these are some big mountains!) If needed, we can split the group into two different guided-runs of different pacing/lengths.
